

Delaware Interagency Collaborative to End Homelessness
The Delaware Interagency Collaborative to End Homelessness was established by Governor Matt Meyer signing Executive Order #8. The overall goal of the Collaborative will be to cut homelessness in half and end youth homelessness in Delaware within the next five years.

Affordable Housing Production Task Force
The Affordable Housing Production Task Force was established via House Bill 442 to make recommendations on how the State and local governments can increase the supply of housing that is affordable to households across the income spectrum.

Lead-Based Paint Remediation Certification Committee
The Lead-Based Paint Remediation Certification Committee was created via House Substitute 2 to House Bill 70 to study the available workforce and public funding to support the lead inspection and remediation efforts required by Chapter 54 of Title 25 of the Delaware Code.

Disaster Housing
In partnership with the University of Delaware’s Institute for Public Administration (IPA), the Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA) will launch a technical assistance pilot program to support a cohort of three municipalities in adopting pre-disaster actions to streamline their housing recovery process.

Planning Assistance
Senate Joint Resolution 8 (SJR 8) directs Delaware State Housing Authority (DSHA) to create a pilot program to support local zoning reform efforts. The program will provide technical assistance to interested municipalities to modernize their zoning and land use codes, with the goals of encouraging a greater variety of housing types, promoting compact, mixed-use development, and addressing housing affordability challenges.
