DIVISIONS

To execute duties relating to its mission, the DSHA is comprised the divisions described below.

Director's Office
Oversees the direction and vision of the DSHA.

Deputy Director's Office
Oversees the operations of the DSHA with direct inputs from the Director's Office

Administration
Responsible for personnel, contracting, check issuance, audit reports, principal contact for investor relations on existing bond issues, and data processing.

Planning & Community Development
Administers federal community development and homeless planning programs, fair housing, planning, Consolidated Plan, Housing Needs Assessment, Housing Production Report, and geographical information.

Community Relations
Responsible for media relations, constituent relations, Annual Report, marketing, brochures, agency presentations and events.

Development
Responsible for acquisition, rehabilitation, rental and for-sale financing, predevelopment loans, challenge grants, tax credit compliance monitoring, State Housing Code enforcement, and administers the Housing Development Fund and the HOME Program.

Finance
Administration of acquisition, rehabilitation and development programs, issuance of single family and multi-family mortgage revenue bonds, principal contact for investor relations on new bond issues and Community Reinvestment Act activities, provides technical assistance on homeownership mortgage lending.

Housing Management
Responsible for management of Public Housing sites and DSHA-owned apartment complexes, Moving-To-Work Program, Section 8 Vouchers, and Resident Services.

Housing Asset Management
Administers project-based rental assistance, tenant inquiries, DSHA-mortgage relations and liaison with HUD on rental issues.

Legislative Issues
Works with information concerning federal, state and local legislation affecting the affordable housing industry.
